Mindfulness
Becoming aware of your breath and learning to control it is a useful self-regulation tool. It allows you to gain composure, develop good posture, to relax, de-stress and better understand yourself and others.

The following breathing activity can be used by children of all ages, and adults too. We encourage you to build up your breathing practice slowly, starting with three breaths and building up to as many as you need in a given situation. We will give you a different breathing exercise every day. Here is today’s breathing exercise - elephant_breathing.docx
